Structured into three symbolic chapters – the events of the night, the relief efforts, and the rebirth – Pietro Mereu’s documentary transcends traditional journalism to become an act of collective and anthropological memory. Emerging from the mud and rubble is a powerful wave of solidarity, dignity, and cultural resilience. Enhanced by a striking soundtrack written by Giulio Mogol and Gino Marielli, the film serves not only as a civil duty to bear witness but also as a concrete fundraising project to support the affected communities.
